Scandalous Gift Alert: NARS Artist Palettes

So, we all know that Nars is one of the best quality makeup lines there is. You really get what you pay for in this line. One of the best ways to try lots of their items (which are somewhat pricey, in my humble college student makeup freak opinion) is to purchase an Artist Palette. There are about nine to choose from, three of which are just for lips. The others include eye, cheek and lip colors. Considering that a blush is $25 and a lipstick is $23, why not get a whole set of colors for $50-$75? You get rather nice portions of the colors, instead of getting something that you can only use twice. Scandalous Gift Alert: Stila Lip Glaze Set

What?!?

I was browsing Neiman Marcus online, and I happened to come across the holiday beauty section. Then I happened to come across this…

I’ll be damned if I walk out of the house wearing this. They said that she is wearing all of this:

$164 on her face? Hell no. Seriously. I’ve never even heard of Jemma Kidd Cosmetics, but any decent makeup artist should know that this look is unacceptable. There are five holiday looks on the entire page, and the sista is the only one with winged out silver eyeshadow and no blending!!!! The caucasian women look like angels, and here goes our girl with hot silver shadow. What is the world coming to?!?!
