Kerry Washington in Armani

Is anyone else as amazed with Kerry Washington as I am? She is one of my favorite celebrities. According to IMDB, Kerry speaks 7 languages! Wow!!!

One of the brands that I have always wanted to try is Giorgio Armani. My first thoughts of the brand are Socialite, Yorkshire Terrior and Cream Puffs. Don’t ask me why. Armani Beaute is a bit expensive for my every day needs, but I always get e-mails from readers telling me that they create the most succulent foundations on the planet. My Neiman Marcus credit card is almost paid off, so if I need to do damage, I will!

Even though Kerry has flawless skin, Make Up Artist Tim Quinn used Armani Luminous Silk Foundation n°9 all over the face. Since Kerry requested a daytime smokey eye, he used bronze and slate gray shades on the lid. To get the lashes up to their fullest potential, he opted for Giorgio Armani Maestro Obsidian Black Mascara. The mascara contains black carbon to give you blacker than black lashes. Now you know that’s hot! Sheer Bronzer was swept along the cheeks to give a radiant glow.

To finish up the look, a nude gloss was used on the lips. Try an Armani Lip Shimmer for luxe looking lips. I’ve been eying the Lip Wax compact lipsticks for months now. Can’t you imagine just how fantastic your lips would look?? I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for! Create A Scandal: Chanel Iman, Page Six

Miss Chanel Iman graced the Cover of Page Six, and did she do her thing?!? Yes! She was rightfully named after Coco Chanel, and rips the runways of all the hottest designers. Seriously, all of them. Louis, YSL, Mcqueen, and any other Fashion House that we all lust over.

When asked about the difficulties of being a Woman of Color in the industry, she responded: “It’s not just black girls. It’s ethnic girls in general: Brazilian girls, Hispanic. You really don’t see a lot of Asians either. A lot of designers think that if every girl on the runway looks exactly alike, then people will come to the shows and buy the clothes because they won’t be focusing on the models….It’s not even just runway either… us ethnic girls should be getting a lot of the covers too! I would love to be on half of the campaigns these [white] girls are booking, all looking exactly alike. It’s not right. It’s not fair.”
